OnePlus 6 red color variant teaser revealed

OnePlus 6 red color variant

OnePlus, via their twitter handle, have revealed the teaser of the firm’s incoming OnePlus 6 red color variant.

Though the short 15-second video doesn’t reveal much about the handset, the idea is clear thanks to the ample usage of red color in the teaser and the description that reads,  “Now initiating: C61422…”. In case you didn’t know, C61422 is the hex color code for red.

Launched back in May, OnePlus 6 was originally available in three color variants — Midnight Black, Mirror Black, and Silk White. There is a Marvel Avengers: Infinity War edition as well, though that doesn’t really count as a color variant.

And now, as per a new tweet, the new model will be revealed by tech Youtuber Marques Brownlee (a.k.a MKBHD). As of now, we don’t have any details regarding the price and availability of the red OnePlus 6.

Prior to the unveiling, a picture showcasing the rear of red-colored OnePlus 6 has leaked on Slashleaks.

As a recap, OnePlus 6 features a notched 6.28-inch Full HD+ display and is powered by octa-core Snapdragon 845 processor. Besides that, other specs include 6/8GB RAM, 128/256GB storage, dual (16MP+20MP) rear camera, 16MP front-facing camera, and 3300mAh battery.

As for the pricing in India, the 6/64GB storage variant of the handset is retailing for Rs 34,999, while the 8/128GB variant sells for Rs 39,999.

In the US, the smartphone is available in three storage variants — 6/64GB, 8/128GB, 8/256GB for $644, $699, $780 respectively.
