Xiaomi has Started Rolling Out Oreo Update to Mi A1 Smartphones

In case you own a Mi A1 handset, it’s time to check out the latest Android version.

The Chinese company Xiaomi on Twitter confirmed that they are rolling out the latest Android oreo update to their latest budget-centric smartphone, Xiaomi Mi A1. Since the update is rolling out in batches, it may take a while before it hits your device.

It’s worth noting that, for your device to get the latest Android update, it has to be running the latest December security patch. So, it’s about time you did that security patch update in case you wanna check out the new Oreo goodies.

As you can see in the picture above, the new update weighs a little over 1GB and brings along all the Android 8.0 Oreo goodies. Some of the features include picture-in-picture mode, Notification Dots, improved Doze mode, password manager, and more.
